The Armies of Heaven in Worldwide Battle

The Armies of Heaven, as instruments of divine vengeance & channels of divine fury, spoil the Jews from Babylon’s World (albeit not without clemency to the Babylonians resulting in a tumult in the Empire) in a display of glory for the establishing of an Everlasting Covenant.

The Armies of Heaven: Instruments of Divine Vengeance & Channels of Divine Fury

Upon beholding the provocative role of the Edomites of old and anew, the following prophecies concerning Edom’s violent demise alongside Babylon are understandable. However, as you read the following verses, think about how and through whom these words will be fulfilled. My reader, the Winepress is just the beginning!

Son of man, set thy face against Mount Seir, and prophesy against it, And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O Mount Seir, I am against thee…Thus will I make Mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from him that passeth out and him that returneth. And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword. I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.” – Ezek. 35:2-3, 7-9

Therefore hear the counsel of the LORD, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them. The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea. Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.” – Jer. 49:20-22

For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment. The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea. And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. For it is the Day of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.” – Isa. 34:5-8

As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O Mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.” – Ezek. 35:15

Let the reader understand that these prophecies speak of God’s judgment by warfare beyond that which Christ is prophesied to do by Himself in the treading of the Winepress (“I have trodden the Winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me– Isa. 63:3). If you recall, the 200-mile Winepress went southeast from Jerusalem unto Bozrah of Edom and no further into the Land of Idumea. The Winepress could cover the Mountain Range of Seir, so it appears, but all places further south and east of Bozrah are excluded seeing that they are beyond the 200-mile range of the Winepress. This being the case, how shall the aforementioned prophecies be fulfilled?

We read of the doom of “Mount Seir”, which commonly refers to all of Edom (Ezek. 35). We read of the desolation of the City of Teman, a region of Edom beyond the Winepress (Jer. 49:20-22). Very specifically, we read of God foretelling the desolation of “all Idumea, even all of it” (Ezek. 35:15)! My reader, this brings us to where we left off in following the unfolding events of the 2nd Advent War. Remember? The treading of the Winepress secured Jerusalem and scattered the Armies of Babylon. Literally, the surviving soldiers of Babylon’s Armies (at least those outside the City) did flee into hiding in hopes they will not be found by the angry Lamb of God! Remember?

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the Face of Him that sitteth on the Throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the Great Day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” – Rev. 6:15-17

They fled at the sight of Him and some escaped, for though He slew with a divine quickness resulting in an unprecedented amassing of human carnage and bloodshed, the close-combat slaughtering was narrow enough for some to escape to the mountains (a place beyond the 200-mile region called, the Winepress). Thus, at the moment of victory in which Jesus stood on the Mount of Olives overlooking the City of Jerusalem, the War had just begun! Indeed, at the treading of the Winepress Jerusalem was recaptured and secured. As for this battle… it was over; but as for the 2nd Advent War, it had just begun! Vast portions of Israel are still populated by the retreated Armies of Babylon who scattered at Christ’s descent. Meanwhile, during the surreal moment of victory on the Mount of Olives, the Babylonians are crying for fear in suicidal madness hoping that death will hide them from the wrath of the Lamb! …if only, by any means possible, they won’t meet the Man of War face to face! So, with many Mountains and holes of Israelite territory occupied with such men as these, and with vast numbers of other scattered soldiers who were not there to see the wrath of the Lamb with their own eyes, we can presume that all in the immediate vicinity are scattered but not all are surrendered. Moreover, the vast majority of Babylon’s Empire is yet to be visited with the sword of Christ.

Realistically, the distant lands and neighboring Cities and Nations still don’t know about the victorious touchdown of the new Sovereign of the World (“And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a Name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS” – Rev. 19:16). Thus, at the treading of the Winepress the 2nd Advent War did effectively begin – however, a campaign of battles must continue worldwide until the entirety of Babylon’s World is brought into utter subjection to Christ! So, to start with, who is going to go and secure the rest of the Land of Israel (Ezek. 39:4, 17)? Or, who is going to secure the rest of the Land of Edom (Ezek. 25:12-14)?

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them; Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword. And I will lay My vengeance upon Edom by the hand of My people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to Mine anger and according to My fury; and they shall know My vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.” – Ezek. 25:12-14

Evidently, when the prophets spoke of the violent & bloody destruction of Teman, Dedan, and all of Idumea (the areas beyond the 200-mile Winepress), they were speaking of another battle in the same campaign of war waged in the 2nd Advent of Christ. So, who would fight in these battles? The Israelites. In language harmonious to Isaiah 63:1-6 (describing what the LORD would furiously accomplish in the Winepress), God spoke of what He would do through the Israelites: “I will lay My vengeance upon Edom by the hand of My people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to Mine anger and according to My fury…” (Ezek. 25:14). Effectively, and truly, the resurrected & raptured saints from every age (including those from the Gentile Church Age) are Israelites / Jews in the sight of God! My reader, we have studied observed what Christ will do alone in treading the Winepress of the Wrath of God. Now, on the contrary, behold what Christ will do with “the Armies” which will follow Him into battle “upon white horses” (Rev. 19:14)! Of them, it was written,

Thou art My battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms; And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his riderWith thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid; I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers. And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, saith the LORD.” – Jer. 51:19-24

Stand in awe, my reader! These exploits of War will be wrought by the Armies of Heaven acting under the sway of divine fury! Just as the glorified saints will be compelled so to do in Edom, much more shall it be done in Babylon’s Empire: they will wage War “according to Mine anger and according to My fury; and they shall know My vengeance, saith the Lord GOD” (Ezek. 25:14)! Accordingly, it shall be a terrible sight to behold! My reader, these are those happy & blessed men and women, now glorified in angel-like bodies for combat and infuriated in the unwavering causes of divine justice, the same who will take the little ones of Babylon and dash them against the stones (Ps. 137:8-9)! The whole army is moved and animated by the wrath and fury of God! Even so, “they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded” (Zech. 10:3-6)! In this case, the Armies of Heaven being thus, “he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David” (Zech. 12:8) when he struck fear in the hearts of the most valiant warriors of adversarial armies (2 Sam. 17:8-10)! Moreover, the Armies of Heaven will act unitedly in one heart at every unspoken desire or verbal command of David, their Prince (Ezek. 34:23-24, 37:24-25, Hos. 3:5), and in so doing they will fight and make war “as God” and “as the Angel of the LORD” (Zech. 12:8)!

It’s not so much that they are seizing God’s glory. On the contrary, God’s glory is seizing them! Literally, like a Man of War would seize weapons and shout, being enraged for the battle, the LORD will grab and bend Judah as a bow, and Ephraim as an arrow, and all the sons of Zion shall He take unto Himself as the sword of a mighty man (Zech. 9:13)! Fearfully, “the LORD shall be seen over them, and His arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the Trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south” (Zech. 9:14)!

Let Israel rejoice in Him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their KingLet the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.” – Ps. 149:2, 6-9

By way of prophecy, we have beheld what Christ will do by Himself alone. Yea, and those men who were beyond the border of the 200-mile region, called the Winepress, did behold the violent fury of an angry God-Man in the Day of the Wrath and haven’t yet recovered sanity! A terrorizing fear gripped them and rendered them delusional and suicidal, crying for death rather than life if indeed they might escape what they most dread: a face to face encounter with the angry Lamb of God! Having a similar impact, the Armies of Heaven will ride forth and invade the nations and kingdoms of the earth! Literally, in accordance with God’s anger and fury, and for the realizing of God’s vengeance by all men (Ezek. 25:14), the world will behold what Christ will do through the Armies of Heaven! The Empire of Babylon will fall before the angry faces and furious swords of the Armies of Heaven as they ride forth upon the winds for war!

The Spoils of War: the Jews

My reader, the outbreak of War in all the World is for a worthy cause! The scrambling of so great an Army is for the oath’s sake! In transitioning from the first battle, where Christ fought alone, to a worldwide campaign of battles that include the Armies of Heaven, Christ is acting in remembrance of divine oaths sworn to the Jews in the old time (Rom. 11:26-27, Isa. 45:17, 25, 59:20). The unconverted Jews in the flesh, who were scattered and enslaved by Babylon, will be regathered and reconciled to God (Ezek. 39:28)! Regal, standing on the Mount of Olives, the Jewish Messiah is poised to rescue the Jews from the grip of Babylon’s World! Ah, can you imagine how passionately Jesus of Nazareth would rally the Armies of Heaven to ride furiously and fight courageously to rescue the Jews and smite the Babylonians worldwide! My reader, revisit the events leading hereto and consider what divine speeches will be uttered before the Heavenly Host just before taking flight from the Mount of Olives in this noble cause.

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the Government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His Government and peace there shall be no end, upon the Throne of David, and upon His Kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” – Isa. 9:6-7

Upon returning from Edom, the final boulevard of the Winepress, the bloodied Man of War dismounted His Horse. Remember? At having triumphantly ascended the Mount of Olives thereto, the Man of Glory stands in altitude overlooking the City of Jerusalem with the Armies of Heaven encircled overhead. Upon recapturing Jerusalem for Himself and by Himself, the Bridegroom graces the Great Whore with the brilliance of His Countenance in a surreal moment of victory! …ah, but the sight of wretched Jerusalem is an unseemly one! Literally, as by a mighty earthquake, the City was divided into three parts during the Shaking (Rev. 16:19); the Mount of Olives, on which Christ stands, has been ripped in half (Zech. 14:4-5)! Not only so, Jerusalem burns (“she shall be utterly burned with fire” – Rev. 18:8)! All the eyes of the Armies of Heaven just watched the Lamb of God tread the Winepress alone… and for what? For the Great Whore? God will make her new again. This is the Passion of Jesus Christ (Ps. 137:5-6). The zeal of the LORD of Hosts will perform this” (Isa. 9:7)! Ah, one can hardly imagine the look in His eyes as He gazes upon Jerusalem in this final moment of victory!

…and thou shalt be called, Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.” – Isa. 62:12

Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a City of Truth; and the Mountain of the LORD of Hosts the Holy Mountain.” – Zech. 8:3

My reader, this is the last time Jerusalem will ever be destroyed (Zech. 14:11). Nevertheless, but what is Jerusalem without the Jews? What is the place without the people? Indeed! In looking upon Jerusalem, Christ is thinking about the Jews!

O Jerusalem, Jerusalemhow often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a Hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!” – Matt. 23:37

Both the place and the people are in a similar estate. So far around two thirds of all living Jews have died at the hands of Babylon worldwide… with only one third remaining alive (Zech. 13:8-9). The living residue remains scattered, except for those who may still reside as captives within Jerusalem’s walls. The immediate fate of Jerusalem from here is uncertain from the vantage point of prophecy. Babylonians may or may not still abide in the City, for the Lord has not yet entered into the City (Rev. 14:20), nor will the Lord enter into the City until the appointed time when the Jews, having been regathered thereto, are compelled to shout in adoration: “Blessed is He that cometh in the Name of the Lord” (Matt. 23:39)! Heretofore, the Jews haven’t been regathered or restored, and for the most part they’re not even converted yet. For, most of them haven’t beheld the Lord’s redemptive acts on their behalf (Zech. 12:9-14)! Heretofore, the vast majority of Babylon’s Worldwide Empire is still untouched by War (Rev. 19:11). Heretofore, the Armies of Heaven that followed the Lamb hereto haven’t lifted a weapon in the battle (Isa. 63:3). I repeat, aside from the nations that abode within the 200-mile Winepress, the Lord hasn’t smitten “the nations” with the sword of His mouth (Rev. 19:15)! Nor has He pled with “all flesh” by fire and the sword (Isa. 66:15-16)! The 2nd Advent War has only just begun.

As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem. And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and His indignation toward his enemies. For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with His chariots like a whirlwind, to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by His sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.” – Isa. 66:13-16 [Zech. 14:12-16]

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the Armies which were in Heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” – Rev. 19:11-16

In this moment, or leading hereunto, or directly hereafter, one can only imagine what has, is, or will take place within the walled City of Jerusalem in the meantime (A voice of noise from the City, a voice from the Temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies” – Isa. 66:6)! For, as stated before, Jerusalem must be prepared for her King’s victorious arrival with the Armies of Heaven at His back while the Jews celebrate within! My reader, can you imagine the commanding voice of the KING of Kings as He addresses the Armies of Heaven standing in the galleries just overhead and circled round about Him atop the Mount of Olives? In perfect stillness the Armies of Heaven wait upon His every word while admiring His every look! Think of it, my reader! The Son of God & the Son of Man, becoming the Image of the Invisible God (Col. 1:15), has a gaze so beautiful it captivates the myriads of Heaven for the endless ages of eternity! And, in the luster of inexpressible glory… He speaks!

Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.” – Micah 4:13

“And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.” – Zech. 14:14

No doubt, the divine orders of the Commander to the Armies of Heaven will be clear and comprehensive as the War turns worldwide, especially with what remains to be accomplished within the walled City of Jerusalem. What has and will happen in her will be felt by all! The torment experienced by her will have a ripple affect worldwide!

And the Kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burningStanding afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that Great City Babylon, that Mighty City! for in one hour is thy judgment come.” – Rev. 18:9-10

The Merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, And saying, Alas, alas, that Great City, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! For in one hour so great riches is come to nought…” – Rev. 18:15-17

And every Shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this Great City! And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that Great City, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.” – Rev. 18:17-19

Jerusalem, who killed Christ and covenanted with the Antichrist – who later betrayed her and forcibly possessed her at the cost of Jewish blood, uttered the madness of her beast-possessed heart, in the saying, “I sit as Queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow” (Rev. 18:7)! She slew her husband, Jesus Christ, and then married another, the Antichrist, who slew her people, the Jews, and dements her with filthy dreams of Babylonian Royalty for a gladsome eternity! Indeed, had she remained faithful to her first Husband (whom she slew and hung on a tree) things might as well be so! But, being married to Lucifer, the Father of Lies, she boasts of a short-lived delusion (Rev. 12:12). For more information, see Evidence that Jerusalem will be the Capital City of the Babylonian Empire.

The neighboring Cities and Lands and all the surviving Kings (Rev. 18:9-10), Merchants (Rev. 18:11-17), and every Shipmaster or Sailor (Rev. 18:17-19) will stand afar off in dreadful amazement at the sudden desolation of the Capital City of Babylon’s Empire, the City of Jerusalem. While weeping and wailing over this nigh-unbelievable sight, as they imagine things to be, perhaps they’ll turn backwards and flee when they catch a glimpse of the Armies of Heaven taking flight in every direction from Jerusalem at the onset of the Worldwide Invasion! A painful and sore sight struck the distant spectators with hysteria and agony, when only an hour ago Jerusalem boasted herself as Babylon’s Queen (Rev. 18:7), not knowing that it’s only a matter of time until the Armies of Heaven are in route to visit them with God’s vengeance! Little do they know, being far removed from Jerusalem isn’t a safer place to be. However, upon seeing the inflight Armies rising and on course in their direction, perhaps they’ll know what’s coming! Indeed, a far greater sorrow will soon be realized by the unwitting common people of the Babylonian Empire who mourn Jerusalem’s desolation. What? Something beyond imagination and out of this world! Literally. Or, rather, SOMEONE!

My reader, despite the divine instrumentality of the Armies of Heaven who are endowed to act in the fiery passions of divine vengeance, there’s still only one Face to this War that the world will remember! Somehow,  Christ will still have a prominent role in spearheading the invasions of the World! Yea, amidst the inflight riding of so great a starry host (Dan. 12:3) only one will shine with a brightness like the sun (“…His countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength” – Rev. 1:16)! Amidst the sword-wielding of a never-so-skilled army of swordsmen, only one will have a sword proceeding from His mouth (“…out of His mouth went a sharp twoedged sword– Rev. 1:16)! Therefore, amidst the ongoing War as it rushes upon the nations (Jer. 25:32, Rev. 19:15, Isa. 52:10, Isa. 31:4-9, 19:1) the eyes of the world will be captured by only one Rider of the Great Army!

“…how is the praise of the whole earth surprised! How is Babylon become an astonishment among the nations!” – Jer. 51:41

At the noise of the taking of Babylon the earth is moved, and the cry is heard among the nationsJer. 50:46

A sound of a cry cometh from Babylon, and great destruction from the Land of ChaldeansJer. 51:54

Yea, amidst the noises of the dying and the wailing cries of the living insomuch that a noise shall come even to the ends of the earth” (Jer. 25:31, 50:22-23), the loudest cries will be because of Him! Though the earth itself is covered with dead bodies insomuch that “the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth” (Jer. 25:33), men will not mourn for the dead but for the Living One! Speaking of this, it was written, all the kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him (Rev. 1:7, Matt. 24:30)!

Acts of Vengeance & Fury Accomplishing Redemption & Mercy

At the onslaught of inexpressible fury herein displayed in Christ, foremost of all, and in the Armies of Heaven in like manner, one is forced to reckon with the divine scheme at hand. Namely, that these acts of vengeance and fury do accomplish redemption and mercy, depending on who you are and how you respond to the salvific acts of God for the Jews. This is the last and final sequence of the grand scheme of redemption & mercy, though the face of it is that of indescribable wrath and fury on the part of God (“…My fury shall come up in My Face” – Ezek. 38:18, “hide us from the Face of Him that sitteth on the Throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb” – Rev. 6:16)! Hardly a time, if ever, did the unfurling of divine wrath lack an interwoven purpose of redemption and mercy. Truly!

“…for when Thy judgments are in the earth,
the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.”
– Isa. 26:8-10 [Jer. 51:47, Rev. 15:3-4]

Those who have been created by God and lived hereunto, to die in the 2nd Advent War, are “vessels of wrath fitted to destruction” (Rom. 9:22). God means to glorify Himself in showing or revealing His wrath so that, as a result, “the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea” (Hab. 2:14, Num. 14:21, Isa. 26:8-10)! This will be an angry unfurling of divine power insomuch that all men will stagger in amazement to behold the violence by which God destroys men! Like what was done in Egypt (Rom. 9:17), only with Babylon (Rev. 15:3-4), Christ will be famous in how He makes men sore afraid for their lives (Josh. 9:9, 24)! Hereby, His Name shall be “declared throughout all the earth” (Ex. 9:16)! Namely, in that terror shall fall upon men as the inhabitants of all the world do faint, and there will be no more courage in any man to withstand the onslaught of incomprehensible fury & power (Josh. 2:9-11)!

The King's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but His favour is as dew upon the grass.” – Prov. 19:12

However, amidst the onslaught Christ will righteously pass over others who are deserving of the same fate as the “vessels of wrath” (Rom. 9:22). This show of pardon upon some malefactors and not all, and in this case the worst of them all, is a purposeful message that God means to send to the world: the riches of God’s glorious mercy on “vessels of mercy” (Rom. 9:23)! Two eternal purposes of God in creating mankind for His glory are at work within time to harden some and soften others leading unto this great and terrible War wherein Christ acts in fury to show mercy, depending on who you are and how you react to the 2nd Advent War.

What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew My power in thee, and that My Name might be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonourWhat if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?” – Romans 9:14-24

As stated before, and thoroughly proven, what God did unto the Egyptians for the sake of the Jews – He will do unto the Babylonians for the sake of the Jews. In smiting the one it liberates the other! In acting upon His wrath for the one He is showing mercy to the other! God will lead all men hereunto – into the throes of the 2nd Advent War – for the maximum display of the glory of His wrath in a staggering show of power and violence, and the contrary, a maximum display of the glory of His mercy in a staggering show of forgiveness and liberation! In other words, these acts of vengeance and fury upon Babylon’s World are the accomplishing of redemption and mercy for the Jews! So, as the Armies of Heaven ride forth behind their lead Warrior in the ongoing Battle of that Great Day of God Almighty” (Rev. 16:14, Joel 3:9-16), remember this one thing: prophecy foretells the divine act that will win the hearts of the Jews, it being, War with Babylon!

Micah 4:9-13  à Through the Way God delivers and redeems the Jews from Babylon they will be saved and exalted.

Isaiah 49:8-14, 22-26  à Zion, feeling forsaken of God because of their affliction under Babylon, comes to know that God is the LORD in that the Kings and Queens of Babylon do bow and lick the dust of their feet. (Micah 7:7-20, Ps. 72:8-11, Isa. 60:14)

My reader, is this how you understand redemption & mercy? Given the circumstances, namely that these Jews are the most wicked and hell-deserving individuals in Babylon’s World, this will be the single greatest act of sovereign mercy ever shown towards mankind! Certainly, if the Jews are going to be converted in truth and in righteousness, they too (like the Babylonians) will need to be brought to mourn and wailbecause of Him (Rev. 1:7)! Evidenced by the following, let the reader explore the interwoven reality of vengeance & wrath accomplishing redemption & mercy!

Jewish redemption (“I will pardon them” – Jer. 50:20) performed by Israel’s “Redeemer” manifests in a “battle” with Babylon in which the LORD fights with “the weapons of His indignation” utilized from the “armoury” of Heaven (Jer. 50:25). This bringing forth of Jewish “righteousness” (Jer. 51:10) is, from a different angle, the vengeance of the LORD upon Babylon (Jer. 50:28, 51:6, 11). Babylon’s men of war will hereby be reduced to trembling and sorrow (Jer. 51:29) as that of affrighted women (Jer. 51:30, 32) while the antichrist will be enfeebled and full of anguish as that of a woman in travail (Jer. 50:43)! The noise of Babylon’s defeat in battle will shake the earth while an agonizing cry will be heard among the nations (Jer. 50:22, 46, 51:54)!

Jewish ingratiation (“the spirit of grace and of supplications” – Zech. 12:10) through the outpouring of the Spirit in the Latter Rain (Zech. 10:1) unto the mournful repentance of all Jews (Zech. 12:10-14) takes place in the event that the LORD defends and destroys all nations that came against Jerusalem (Zech. 12:8-10; Zech. 13:8-14:4, Dan. 7:11-12). Jewish peace and reconciliation to the God of Israel (“I the LORD will be their God” & “a Covenant of Peace” – Ezek. 34:24-25) takes place “WHEN” the Jews are loosed and delivered from Babylonian Captivity (Ezek. 34:27); “THUS” shall the Jews savingly “know” the LORD (Ezek. 34:30)!

Jewish salvific consecration unto and within the Name of God (Ezek. 39:7, 27) will take place through “fire” being heaped upon Magog (Ezek. 39:6, Isa. 66:13-16), with a great sword-slaughtering (Ezek. 39:17-20; Rev. 19:17-18), insomuch that the Name of the LORD is thereby hallowed and unpolluted among the Israelites and the heathen know it to be so (Ezek. 39:6-7). Literally, the LORD will unveil His “glory” among the heathen (“the Son of Man shall come in His glory, and…sit upon the Throne of His glory” – Matt. 25:31, Mk. 14:62, Rev. 6:16-17) and therefrom execute “judgment” upon the heathen (Ezek. 29:21; Joel 3:12) to wit “from that day and forward” Israel shall be savingly reconciled to God (Ezek. 39:22, 28, 36:28-33, 38). This is the salvation of the Jews! – “mercy” toward Israel through the shining of God’s unhidden face, and the outpouring of the Spirit in the Latter Rain, all because the LORD is “jealous” for His Name (Ezek. 39:25, 29, 36:21-23)!

Jewish redemption and conversion (“the Redeemer shall come” – Isa. 59:20, Rom. 11:26) climactically takes place because of God’s “righteousness”, and not our own, to perform “salvation” for the Jews through the execution of “vengeance” upon Babylon (with “zeal” and “fury” in the 2nd Advent War) to wit the Name of the LORD is feared in all the earth (Isa. 59:16-20). In other words, this is when God arises and shines in glory upon the Jews while the earth is swallowed up in gross darkness to wit the glory of the LORD is seen and regarded by all the Gentiles (Isa. 60:1-5)! As a continuation of Isaiah Ch. 59-60, we read of the Gospel (“good tidings”) of divine acceptance that liberates the bound and imprisoned Jewish captives of Babylon in that “the Day of Vengeance” has come (Isa. 61:1-2). Hallelujah!

Further illustrating “the Day of Vengeance” as it relates to the redemption of the Jews (“the year of My redeemed” – Isa. 63:4), we read of One who is “mighty to save” who brings “salvation” through His own “fury” insomuch that the Babylonians are slain and violently trodden upon - their blood splattering and staining the garments of the mighty Warrior (Isa. 63:1-6). The longstanding blindness, deafness, lameness, and dumbness of the Jews, spiritually speaking (Isa. 35:5-7), will be removed via redemption (Isa. 35:9) in fulfillment of the saying, “your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you” (Isa. 35:4), and in so doing “the glory of the LORD” will visibly arise before all (Isa. 35:2)!

Hereby, in the display of vengeance & fury upon the Babylonians, the Jews will be brought to godly sorrow & repentance over their abominable acts of wickedness which far exceeded those of all other nations and peoples on earth! However, if you can believe it, things are not all hopeless for the Gentile inhabitants of the world.

The Salvific Acts of God for the Jews

The Covenant-Making Acts of God for the Jews

My reader, what God will say and do for the salvation of the Jews in the End of the World is by far the most staggering display of glory to date! Truly, who can argue otherwise? This scenario is utterly saturated in the action of never-before-seen wrath and, the contrary, never-before-seen mercy! Furthermore, as you will soon see, what God does in clemency to the non-Jewish inhabitants of Babylon’s World at the outbreak of Worldwide Battle is a signature act that consummates the salvific acts of God for the Jews! However, lest these acts of God go unappreciated, the totality of what is happening here deserves a second look. Sometimes things are better understood when approached from another angle. So, let’s make our approach from a Covenantal Perspective. In doing so, we acknowledge how the God of Israel has maneuvered all things hereunto for the making of a Covenant between Himself & the physical, literal Israelites. After all, the Israelites are the chief aim of the God of Israel. Right? For, to be saved is to be in Covenant with God. Therefore, the salvific acts of God for the Jews could otherwise be termed: The Covenant-Making Acts of God for the Jews. Agreed?

Well, my reader, do you remember how many times the Lord spoke of establishing an Everlasting Covenant with the Jews? Like, for example, in Jeremiah 31:31-40, 32:37-44, & 33:6-26? Or, in Ezekiel 34:11-30, 36:7-38, 37:21-28, & 39:21-29? If so, you know that God’s Covenantal Intentions with the Jews are profound & exhaustive. In fact, the making of this Covenant is the dawning of a New World (“The Wolf also shall dwell with the Lamb…” – Isa. 11:6-9)! Literally. The making of this Covenant is not only a new era of redemption and glory but one of New Life (“life from the dead” – Rom. 11:15)! My reader, while beholding the outbreak of Worldwide Battle (as is the subject of our study in this section), consider its glorious aftermath!

But with righteousness shall He judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and He shall smite the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips shall He slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of His loins, and faithfulness the girdle of His reins.

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea

And in that Day there shall be a Root of Jesse, which shall stand for an Ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and His rest shall be glorious. And it shall come to pass in that Day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an Ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim. But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them. And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod. And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.” – Isa. 11:4-16

In accordance with Isaiah’s vision of the Worldwide Battle and the aftermath, the riders of the Armies of Heaven will not indiscriminately and randomly slaughter the inhabitants of Babylon’s World. No! So, the question is, when “a Star” rises our of Jacob and “a Sceptre” out of Israel to “smite” and “destroy”, “who shall live when God doeth this” (Num. 24:17, 23)? Amazingly, in clemency to the survivors, redemptive purposes will be gloriously accomplished therein for the Jews & the Gentiles! As stated before, things are not all hopeless for the Gentile inhabitants of the world! The salvific acts of God for the Jews lead into and culminate in a Call – a Worldwide Proclamation – which in turn leads to a tumultuous division among Babylonians Worldwide! My reader, the Jews will be the first ones to rise up in a shout of defiance in answer to the Call! To behold the wonder of this signature event to save the Jews (not excluding clemency to the Gentiles), consider the totality of wonders accomplished heretofore: compare the Covenant-Making Acts of God at Sinai, and against Egypt, with those wrought at the 2nd Advent against Babylon!

Sinai: Behind the veil of Consuming Fire, unseen by men, there dwelt One Seated on a Throne of Glory surrounded & transported by Cherubim. The definitive expression of the Glory of God in Heaven is veiled by the Fire in its appearance on earth at Sinai’s peak, hiding it until the time appointed when it would be revealed (Heb. 12:18-21, Ex. 19:16-20, 25:19, Neh. 9:13, Deut. 4:11-12, 15, 36, Ps. 18:10, 68:17, 80:1, 99:1, Ezek. 9:3, 10:2-14 | Deut. 33:2, Judges 5:4-5, Hab. 3:3).

2nd Advent: Set forth within the Fire and unveiled by the Fire, and seen by all men (Heb. 12:25-29, Rev. 6:16-17, 15:1-8), there dwells One Seated on a Throne of Glory surrounded and transported by Cherubim (as observed at length in The Rapture, The Judgment, Heaven Besieging Earth, The Gathering, & The Shaking).

Sinai: Proceeding forth from the Devouring Fire came the voice of God through the vocal cords of angels (Ex. 20:18-21, Deut. 4:33, 36, 18:16, the word spoken by angels” – Heb. 2:2), as was meet in the Old Covenant (Heb. 1:1-2:4; Gal. 3:19, Acts 7:53).

2nd Advent: Proceeding forth from the Pavilion of Fire comes the voice of God the Son, Jesus of Nazareth, as is meet for the New Covenant (Heb. 1:1-2:4, 12:25-29, Deut. 18:15-19, Acts 3:22-23; see The Shaking).

Sinai: The voice of God through angels was the deadliest force to mankind (Ex. 20:18-19, Deut. 4:33, 5:24-29, 18:15-19), the most earth-shaking force to nature (Ex. 19:18, Heb. 12:26), and the most magnified manifestation of God Himself (Ps. 138:2, Ps. 29:1-11), and therefore is it the most frightening to men (Deut. 4:10, Heb. 12:18-21).

2nd Advent: The voice of God the Son is the deadliest force to mankind (Heb. 1:1-2:4, 3:7-4:11, 10:26-31, 12:25-29) insomuch that its power, as a blast of divine volume, shakes heaven and earth universally (Heb. 12:25-29, Lk. 21:26, Ps. 46:6, Isa. 42:13, Jer. 25:30, Joel 3:15-16, Isa. 30:30, Heb. 12:25-29), and because this terrible shaking is the breaking point of Babylon’s pride (Isa. 2:10-22), therefore it is the most frightening to men (Heb. 12:28-29; see The Shaking).

Sinai: The experience was so impactful, it should have kept the Jews from idolatry thenceforth. (Ex. 20:20, Duet. 4:9-40, 5:29).

2nd Advent: The experience is so impactful, it will cause the Jews and Babylonians alike to violently cast their idols to the ground with great astonishment & horror (Isaiah 2:18, 20, 30:22, 31:6-7, 48:5; see The Shaking).

Sinai: The Consuming Fire of Sinai had the real potential to devour men if God was provoked (Deut. 9:3, 18-20, 25, 10:10, Ps. 106:23; Deut. 32:22, Ps. 21:9, Nah. 1:6, Zeph. 1:18; Lev. 10:2, Num. 11:1-3, 16:35, Ps. 78:21, 106:18).

2nd Advent: The Consuming Fire at the 2nd Advent War does devour men and angels because God is provoked (2 Thess. 2:8, Heb. 10:27, Isa. 11:4, 30:27-28, 30, 33, 34:8-10, 66:14-16; see The Shaking).

EGYPT: In a finishing act of dominance and as a culmination of all divine signs, the LORD won the heart of the Jews by fighting and winning a war against Egypt (Ex. 15:1-22). Intentionally, God hardened Pharaoh and the Egyptians in a purpose of wrath (Rom. 9:17-18) so that in making war against them He would be glorified in a purpose of mercy for the Jews; those men whose hearts the Lord hardened were used by God for the glory of His praise among those whose hearts He softened (Rom. 9:15-16, 18).

BABYLON: In a finishing act of dominance and as a culmination of all divine signs, the Son of God will win the heart of the Jews by fighting and winning a war against Babylon’s World of Nations (Isa. 59:16-60:3, Zech. 12:8-14, Ezek. 34:23-31, 39:4-29, Isa. 61:1-4, 63:1-6, 35:1-10, 41:8-16, 42:1-25, 43:1-21, 46:13-47:15, Micah 7:7-20, Jer. 50:1-8, 17-20, 22-37, 51:1-11, 19-24, 29-33, 45, 47-57). Intentionally, God hardened the Antichrist & the Babylonians in a purpose of wrath (2 Thess. 2:10-12, Joel 3:9-16, Rev. 16:13-16, 17:17, Ezek. 38:16-19; see The Gathering) so that in making war against them He would be glorified in a purpose of mercy for the Jews; those men whose hearts the Lord hardened were used by God for the glory of His praise among those whose hearts He softened (Rom. 9:15-16, 18).

Of old, at Sinai & against Egypt, the LORD acted to win the Jews by bringing them into a Covenant Agreement through the above operation – acts of God so glorious and unprecedented they were unrepeatable and unbeatable, except in what God would do in the 2nd Advent of Christ! Anew, at the 2nd Advent & against Babylon, the LORD acts to win the Jews by bringing them into Covenant Agreement through the above operation, albeit this time the totality of redemptive purposes are interworking in one unparalleled display of Majesty!

And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses. And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face, In all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land, And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.” – Deut. 34:9-12

In a contained & limited display of divine power and majesty, Moses came down from Mount Sinai bearing in his hands the Words of the Covenant” proceeded out of the Consuming Fire (Ex. 20:1-21, 34:28). In effect, the return of Moses – to those whom did not expect his return – was for the Making of a Covenant with an unprepared people! Indeed, Moses came down from the Mount of Consuming Fire with “the Tables of the Covenant” (Ex. 32:15-15; Duet. 9:9, 11, 15) in his hands… but upon seeing and hearing the revelry of their abominable festival of idolatry “he cast the Tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the Mount” (Ex. 32:19)! Therefore, I say, the people were unprepared for the Covenant. Nevertheless, a signature event will make the Jews ready and establish the Covenant at last! What? The Call & The Sword.

Having just come down from the Mount of Consuming Fire, Moses destroyed the abomination of desolation (“the calf”Ex. 32:19-20; Dan. 9:26-27) and Called for the death of all the Jews who were not penitent at the sight of Moses’s return. In other words, the Prophet Moses Called for a Sword with every Jew set against his impenitent brother unto death (Ex. 32:26-29).

Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD'S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour. And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men. For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves to day to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.” – Exodus 32:26-29

The call didn’t go unanswered! Those who answered the call, the Levites, took sword in hand and smote the impenitent Jews from gate to gate throughout the Camp of Israel. In effect, the sword-slaughtering brought the wayward Jews into mourning and repentance as was meet (Prov. 19:25, 21:11, Deut. 13:11, 21:21) if they were going to enter into a Covenant Relationship with God (Ex. 32:15-34:10; see the Great Pause). Hereby, through this signature event, the otherwise impossible Covenant was ratified (Deut. 9:6-10:10)!

The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.” – Deut. 18:15-19 [Acts 3:22-23]

In an uncontained & unlimited display of divine power and majesty, Jesus came down from Heaven into Earth’s Skyline and, thereafter, from Earth’s Skyline to Land, only after the sky was set ablaze with Consuming Fire! Before the eyes of bystanding nations Jesus Roared & Uttered His Voice – hereby, “the Words of the Covenant” do proceed out of a Consuming Fire (Ex. 20:1-21, 34:28; Heb. 12:25-29)! Just like Moses, Christ’s Return – to those who do not expect His return! – is for the Making of a Covenant with an unprepared people! Jesus, knowing the Jews are yet unprepared upon His return, moves to accomplish a signature event that will establish the Covenant with the Jews! What? The Call & The Sword. My reader, this is a decisive moment for the remaining inhabitants of the earth. Literally, it’s a Valley of Decision!

“Multitudes, multitudes in the Valley of Decision: for the Day of the LORD is near in the Valley of Decision.” – Joel 3:14

Having just come down from the Consuming Fire of Earth’s Skyline, Jesus destroyed the abomination of desolation (Dan. 7:11, Rev. 19:20) in The Shaking & The Winepress, just like Moses destroyed the golden calf. Then, at the commencement of the Worldwide Battle, and upon every occasion that is meet thereafter, the LORD will verbally Call for the death of all impenitent Babylonians who are not penitent at the sight of Christ’s return! In other words, just like Moses did toward the Jews at the foot of Sinai, the Prophet like unto Moses Calls for a Sword with every Gentile set against his impenitent brother unto death!

Therefore I will SHAKE the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the Day of his fierce anger. And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own landEvery one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.” – Isa. 13:13-16 [Ps. 137:8-9]

For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will Call for a Sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts. Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall ROAR from on high, and UTTER HIS VOICE from his holy habitation; he shall mightily ROAR upon his habitation; he shall give a SHOUT, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.” – Jer. 25:29-33

Foretelling of this event, it was written, “I will Call for a Sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth” (Jer. 25:29)! Harmoniously, like the Jews were set against their impenitent brethren unto death in the Camp of Israel (Ex. 32:26-29), the Gentiles will be set against their impenitent brethren unto death in the World. Literally, the penitent Gentiles – now in glorified bodies like unto angels (Lk. 20:34-38, 1 Jn. 3:2) – will fly from nation to nation (Jer. 25:32, Rev. 19:15, Isa. 52:10, Isa. 31:4-9, 19:1) slaying every prominent resistor of the Kingdom of God who remains loyal to Babylon!

Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.” – Isa. 13:15

“…He will plead with all flesh; He will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD.” – Jer. 25:31

Remember, at the Call of Moses the Jews went “gate to gate” to cleanse the Camp of Israel of rebels (Ex. 32:26-29). Even so, at the Call of Christ the Glorified Gentiles (Spiritual Jews) will go coast to coast & nation to nation worldwide slaying the Unglorified Gentiles who remain loyal to Babylon! Can you imagine it, my reader? The Glorified Nationals of every nation riding forth in war against the Unglorified Nationals of their homelands (friends and family), the same ones who persecuted and slew them in the fervor of Babylon’s cause prior to the 1st Resurrection (Rev. 13:9-10, Matt. 10:21-22, 24:9-10)! Through this Sword-slaughtering, insomuch that “the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth” (Jer. 25:33), the Armies of Heaven will completely subdue Babylon’s World before the rightful sovereign of planet Earth. However, if you can believe it, this is not the full scope of the Mosaic Call that Christ will make upon descending from the fiery blaze of Earth’s Skyline.

The Call: A Tumult in the Empire of Babylon

Presumably, as far back as Christ’s victorious ascent upon the Mount of Olives in the aftermath of the Winepress, and at every occasion that is meet thereafter as the War progresses worldwide, a Call will be made. According to the aforementioned prophecies, that Call will be directed to and answered by the Glorified Gentiles who’ve become the Armies of Heaven in that they were saved and became Christians during the Gentile Church Age. The turning of their blades upon their own countrymen and brethren is a glorious fulfillment of what is foretold in this event, no doubt about it! However, as you will soon see, other prophecies speaking of the same events do enlarge the scope of the Call in that it speaks to a greater company of Gentiles.

Therefore, before the onset of Worldwide Battle (before the Armies of Heaven scramble and disperse in battle formation behind their lead Warrior to take over the world), and at every divinely chosen venture thereafter, a Worldwide Proclamation will be made to the unconverted heathen populations of Babylon’s World. Can you believe it? Of course, the Call will effectively be, “Who is on the LORD'S side?(Ex. 32:26)! How many times the Lord Jesus Christ will personally make the appeal, I know not, but one thing I do know is the warning: “See that ye refuse not Him that speaketh” (Heb. 12:25)! In addition to the voice of the Son of God, perhaps Holy Angels will make their rounds overhead the inhabitants of every place, even as the Watchers shouted upon Nebuchadnezzar in the days of old (Dan. 4:17, 28-37)! Oh, how unwarranted is Babylon’s Pride! And, how dreadful are the voices that shall humble her (“…there fell a Voice from Heaven, saying, O King Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; the Kingdom is departed from thee.” – Dan. 4:31)! Thus, by way of Holy Angels, perhaps the Call will be synchronized with the Armies of Heaven advancing upon the borderlands of each regional authority in Babylon’s Empire, just as the following prophecies may directly indicate:

And I saw another Angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the Everlasting Gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

And there followed another Angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

And the third Angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” – Rev. 14:6-11

And after these things I saw another Angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies

And I heard another Voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, My People, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.” – Rev. 18:1-7 [Isa. 21:9, Jer. 50:2, 4-8, 51:5-10, 45-46]

So great a publication is going to be made to all nations that, Jeremiah exclaimed, “Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, BABYLON IS TAKEN…” (Jer. 50:2)! Hardly could Jeremiah have known that Holy Angels would be employed to do the heralding! Evidently, the greater fulfillment of these pronouncements is being unveiled in Revelation 14:8 & 18:2, even though John echoed what Isaiah & Jeremiah proclaimed in the saying, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen” (Isa. 21:9), and, “Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed” (Jer. 51:8)! Also, just as Jeremiah cried, “Remove out”, “go forth out”, and “Flee out” (Jer. 50:8, 51:6), or as Isaiah exclaimed, “Go ye forth”, “flee ye from”, and “Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence…go ye out” (Isa. 48:20, 52:11), or as Zechariah pled, “Ho, ho, come forth, and flee”, and, “Deliver thyself” (Zech. 2:6-7), even so did John cry, “Come out” (Rev. 18:4)! Hardly could these prophets have known, as John was made to know, the scenario in which these appeals would trumpet forth and by whom they would be uttered!

Undoubtedly, this Call will be heard by the Jews (Isa. 52:6), but it is hard to be answered while they remain captives (Jer. 50:4-10, 51:5-10, 45-46)! Certainly, as the wisdom of God provides opportunity, in whatever chance they get they will fight for their lives and for their freedom in the fall of Babylon’s Empire. Wherever they be, or whoever they are, they can act as God allows! The captive servants of Jezebel will help cast her from her stately perch of prostitution when faced with the opportunity (2 Kings 9:32-33)! The sword-less servants of the field will help route the enemy as informants to the pursuers of blood, whoever they be (1 Sam. 30:11-15)! The ravaged women of ill-repute that are used and abused by Babylonians, whoever they be, can assume a vital role in the War if God so pleases (Josh. 2:1-24)! Yea, even housekeepers and old folks can help execute God’s wrath upon fleeing Babylonian Soldiers who seek refuge in hiding and, in turn, they’ll bring a good report to the Armies of Heaven (Judges 4:17-22)! In a moment of fate when Babylon is weak, those weakened by her will wax strong in fight (Esther 9:1-11, Heb. 11:34)! The Jews, in the throes of the 2nd Advent War, will call upon the Name of the LORD and act in faith as responders to the Call (“they shall call on My Name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is My people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God” – Zech. 13:9)!

“…slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.” – Ex. 32:27

Ezekiel 38:21 pinpoints the timing of the Call right after the Winepress and right before the Worldwide Battle, seeing that the Mountains of Israel are still inhabited by the Armies of Babylon who fled from the 200-mile region so as to hide in the rocks and holes of Mountains (Rev. 6:15-17). Clemency will be shown even to them, so it seems, depending on if they answer the gracious Call to defy Babylon and live!

However, remember, prophecy explicitly states that their Captors will refuse to let them go (“…all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.” – Jer. 50:33). In other words, the deranged Empire will largely refuse the Call and, in so doing, they’ll fight against the Armies of Heaven! Hence, apart from the full scope of the War in all of its crushing blows upon the head of Babylon’s Pride, the Jews will remain captive to Babylon & unconverted to Christ (Ex. 14:31, Isa. 52:10, Ezek. 39:21-29)! Knowing this, let it be understood that the Call isn’t directed exclusively to the Jews. No! The Call is certainly for the Jews, and on their behalf, but for the most part it’s not answerable by the Jews! Pointedly, and sternly, the Lord will direct the Call to all the inhabitants of Babylon’s World, wretched though they be! Yea, while Christ stands upon the Mount of Olives with his foot upon the neck of the Beast, the Proclamation will be made! And, thereafter, Proclamations will be made! In effect, the people will hear: “Defy Babylon and Live!”  And I will call for a sword against him throughout all My Mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.” – Ezek. 38:21

And I will overthrow the throne of Kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the Kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.” – Hag. 2:22

And it shall come to pass in that Day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.” – Zech. 14:13

The survivors of the War are those who betrayed Babylon and or surrendered to Christ, clemency being shown depending upon how heartily and prominently each one ran with Babylon in the perversity of her folly. Let the reader understand that clemency is shown through the Call, and not without it, just as Moses made a Call among the Jews in the days of old, saying, Who is on the LORD'S side?(Ex. 32:26)! Even so, among the Babylonians, The Call will be both heard and answered, and as a consequence the Empire of Babylon will be divided (Esther 8:17, 9:2-3). My reader, this is no small division. Zechariah said “a great tumult” will be among the people (Zech. 14:13)! Herein, every Penitent Babylonian of this sort will be set against the Impenitent Babylonians worldwide before and amidst the onset of the Worldwide Battle! My reader, this is no small turning of allegiance! In defiance of Babylon, the hopeful responders of the Call will be required to show no pity in the killing of their own brethren and neighbors.

Thus, we see how the fall of the Babylonian Empire (Jer. 50:2) will include an implosion of its own people for fear of the Clarion Call made by the KING of Kings! Hence, the Jewish Liberation from captivity will not be some random regathering wherein the Jews wander back to Jerusalem. No! Nor will the warfare against Babylon’s World be some random smiting by the Armies of Heaven! Ingeniously, the Lord moves to silence the mouths of blasphemy that have uttered the mad desires of Hell. In other words, the Call will be used to reckon with the people before they meet with the fire and the sword (“For by fire and by His sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.” – Isa. 66:16; Ezek. 38:21-23). This will be an appeal of mercy, of sorts. In reckoning with them, the Lord hopes to convince them of their ungodly speeches and ungodly deeds and thereby compel them to answer the Call!

Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” – Jude 1:14-15

Babylon’s blasphemies, and that of the nations (Ezek. 25:6, 8, 26:2, 27:3, 28:2, 6, 29:3, 35:10, 12, 36:2, 13), will be turned backwards (Jer. 50:7, 11). The mouths of gainsayers and naysayers will be stopped! Having the desired effect, the Call will accomplish the purpose for which it was sent forth as Babylon breathes its last breath. The Lord will sift the nations & strip Babylon of its dominion, leaving a remnant of survivors that will live on in service to the KING of Kings albeit remaining unconverted sinners. Many, or perhaps most, will resist the dominion of Christ and they will pay dearly for it. Others will defect from Babylon and or surrender to Christ, and most if not all of this company will be allowed to live because of it.

I beheld till the thrones were cast downI beheld even till the Beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. As concerning the rest of the Beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.” – Dan. 7:9-12 [Rev. 19:19-21]

The penalty for resisting Christ and maintaining loyalty to Babylon will be crushing to the courage of valiant warriors. As Isaiah 66:13-16 & Zechariah 14:12-16 do illustrate, the people will suffer under the fire and the sword! The Zerubbabel Generation of God (Hag. 2:21-23) alongside all the redeemed of every age, alongside a treasonous uprising of Babylonians in response to the Call, will fight in the battles until the desired subjection is achieved. Literally, “every one that is left of all the nations (Zech. 14:13) will live in subjection to Jesus Christ from thenceforth, or else (Zech. 14:12-21)!
